The importance of breath awareness in stress relief and muscle tension could be very helpful.  It’s always a great practice to connect with your breath throughout the day. If one finds holding his or her breath for too long, simply turn your attention to breath and imagine relaxation of the body, scan your muscle tension with you mind as you breath in and out!

Another way to practice deep relaxation breathing is before going to bed simply scan your muscles with you mind from head to toe as you breath deep in you belly and feeling your rib cage is expending and relaxing.
